Low-Profile, High-Performance Underfloor Heating with Profix® Thermal X
Take your underfloor heating to the next level with Profix® Therm X, the enhanced low-profile system from Epic Insulation. With an 18mm profile, this high-efficiency panel retains all the benefits of the original Profix® system while introducing optional extruded polystyrene (XPS) backing (3, 5, or 10mm) for improved thermal insulation and faster heat response.
Designed to fit 10mm to 12mm diameter pipes, the 600mm x 600mm panels are manufactured from 100% recycled plastic and include integrated pipe retention clips, interlocking features, and a rigid base that reduces downward heat loss—maximizing energy use and directing warmth where it’s needed most.

Warm-water underfloor heating is a cost-effective, energy efficient space heating solution for new build properties.
With their self-adhesive backing and interlocking features, Profix® underfloor heating panels are very quick to install and guarantee the UFH pipework is always positioned at the correct spacing.
Incorporating a Profix® low-temperature warm-water underfloor heating system in a new build property, powered by a heat pump, will provide a ‘future-proofed’ space heating solution complying with the requirements of The Future Homes Standard and The Future Buildings Standard.
Underfloor heating for renovations
With its large surface area, a warm-water underfloor heating system can be an ideal space heating solution for retrofit projects.
At just 15mm in height, and with the added benefit of a self-adhesive backing, Profix® underfloor heating panels offer a very thin, fast-fix solution.
The self-adhesive backing on every 15mm Profix® Panel removes the risk of mechanical fixings compromising any hidden services within the existing sub-floor and, thanks to their very low profile, result in only a minimal increase to the current floor height.
