Epic Insulation Profoil EPS400: Strength Meets Efficiency
Epic Insulation’s Profoil EPS400 is specifically designed to meet the demands of modern low-profile UFH systems. This moulded EPS panel offers a true 400 kPa compressive strength, ensuring exceptional load-bearing performance despite its slim design. Additionally, moulded foam doesn’t suffer from weakening of the board from routing as the grooves are preformed rather than taking material away from an existing unrouted board.
At just 20mm thick, Profoil EPS400 keeps floor build-up to an absolute minimum, making it ideal for projects where height restrictions are a concern. The board is precision moulded with grooves for 16mm pipe at 150mm centres, allowing for fast, accurate installation and consistent pipe spacing.
This integrated design removes the need for additional fixing systems, simplifying installation while maintaining structural integrity across the floor.
Premium Foil Finish for Versatility
A key feature of Profoil EPS400 is its 100-micron foil facing which is lined into the groove. This high-quality reflective layer enhances heat distribution while also providing a robust, stable surface for a wide range of floor coverings.
Working alongside market leaders such as Mapei and Bostik, Epic Insulation has ensured that Profoil EPS400 is compatible with a multitude of floor finishes, giving installers and specifiers complete confidence in its versatility.
